Today, a model I've been working on for an art competition was declined. They thought I was being insensitive and "rudely glorifying 9/11". My model was about the ending scene of King Kong. I spent twenty hours on that model. FML

Maybe you should have given your model a title to clear up any misunderstanding

so the judges think one building with a gorilla on it represents the twin towers . . . I guess I need to touch up on my history then.

The way they just declined your art entry is just plane wrong =.

Even though the Twin Towers didn't even exist yet in 1933, and there is only one Empire State Building. Did you put King Kong on the building? If so, FYL, it was obvious it was King Kong.

That's when you know you should of went with the giant squid instead of a ape.

Everyone knows King Kong was behind 9/11. WAKE UP SHEEPLE!

If any of you fuckwads never saw the original it was on the Twin Towers first and not the Empire State Building

The Twin Towers did not exist in the 1930's, when the original King Kong was made. The '76 Kong movie put him on the Twin Towers because their construction had just been completed.

Leapfrogging off of #37, it appears #34 falls under his own insult of 'fuckwad'. Nice try though, well not really.

Uncultured people are everywhere, even um art competitions. FYL

**** them. It's art. It can be as inconsiderate, insensitive, sweet, festive, and revolting (obviously any adjective would fit the bill here ) as you want it to be. I'm sure if you raised enough of a fuss, or the likelier option of just explaining the piece to them, they'd put it in anyways.

well you should've thought how it would look for the judges and for spectators in general. YDI
