The client from hell

Today, I got into work to find our trailer missing. I checked the system to see who had been in, and saw the name I was expecting. This person has racked up a debt of $3000, run off with another $5000 from the owner, and she STILL gives in whenever he asks for something. Someone was supposed to rent it today. FML

A good employee usually starts to think of themselves as an important part of the company where they work. That’s good and admirable. But when management or the owner consistently makes bad financial choices it’s time to think of preserving your own long term financial safety and stability… I would say it’s time for OP to start looking for another job. Don’t tell anyone there or connected to your present job, just update your resume, make applications to applicable jobs and go on the interviews you need. Then once you have an acceptable job offer in hand just give notice and move on.
