That's a sticky situation OP!! Hope you'll figure out a way to save the cards!!
you might be able to make the glue brittle enough to scrape off with an exto or razor blade if you freeze it.
I hope you can sell that story to those who wonder why your cards are stuck together. It doesn't work for me.
Thank you everyone for your sympathy and kind comments! There were some ups and downs with the cleaning process. UP: I managed to clean everything up, and only threw away a couple of unused postcards I wasn't planning to mail anyway! DOWN: It was about forty five minutes of cleaning starting at like ten at night... So tired, but so glad everything was saved!

That sucks, it isn't pleasant when something you work on gets destroyed. Hopefully the replacements you create will be that much better!
