Today, I'm a full-time Investment Portfolio Analyst at one of the largest groups. It has been my dream job and I worked my ass off. I'm one of the best analysts there and people like me. Also, I haven't slept properly for 3 months, without a single day off. I'm about to get mentally sick. FML

Today, I've been sick for five days and I have two college essays and a exam coming up, along with a few other assignments. I've been working non-stop for five days with less than six hours of sleep per day, and more assignments are flowing in as I am working. FML

Today, because of my new job, I'm so tired I can’t think straight anymore. Long hours to make a sterling first impression? Nope. I haven’t even started working yet, I’m just exhausted because it all stresses me to the point I can’t sleep at night. FML

Today, after trying so hard to get myself back on my feet, I had an amazing interview and I was hired on the spot. I was so happy, until I read the position I was given, and it turns out I didn't get full-time, I got barely enough hours to even be part-time. FML

take a damn sick day. i am sure you get sick days as part of your benefits. stop thinking the great job is all you have to live for. sorry but you need to learn that a work/life balance is important to your mental and physical health. to all those telling the OP congrats on getting her "dream job" and to work hard, what good is a dream job, if you kill yourself by working so much you can't even enjoy it. this is really an FML warning from the OP that she is burnt out, a little compassion is in order here.
