Best case scenario is that you get a couple emails in a few days that read “You’re right! I need to change my attitude and embrace this as a new opportunity! As a new beginning of something special!” and “Oh, ****, I’ve been thinking something similar in the back of my mind… Your terminal cancer metaphor—while oddly specific—really put things into perspective. I don’t know what to do, mate.”
I do, but that doesn't mean that I'm guaranteed to put them in the right envelopes.
