Today, while writing a self-evaluation for my internship, I had to type up answers to certain questions and then submit them. After submission, I re-read one of the answers I had written that said, "After 3 months on the jon I finally feel like I have accomplished a lot." I had meant to write job. FML

Today, after spending four days having my resume, cover letter, and references proofread and perfected by professionals, I finally submitted it all to the summer internship of my dreams. I received a rejection letter ten minutes later. FML
Today, I finished doing a resume that I had spent three hours on. I e-mailed it to the business I was applying for, satisfied. I decided to look it over. The first thing I notice, I spelt my own name wrong. FML
Today, I was taking a test and thought I was doing great until I realized I was writing all my answers on the question paper, not the answer sheet. By the time I noticed, there were only five minutes left. FML
Today, I was filling out an application for a job at a local pet store. At the end of it, they wanted a paragraph about any pets I had. After a while, I found myself finishing a 3-page essay about them. That's the longest essay I've ever written. FML
Today, I sent a thank you note after a job interview, emphasizing my accuracy at editing written reports; I misspelled the company's name. FML
Today, I filled out an online application for a internship. I didn't have all the info I need to complete it, but it wouldn't let me leave anything blank so to move along I filled in crap answers. I pressed "Save". It sent my draft in. I now have to explain that "Jesus" isn't actually my reference. FML
Today, there's a company I want to get a job at, and I've worked for a long time to get in. However, I realized that in the test task I'd been doing for almost a month, there was a small mistake in my calculations that makes all my results false. And, of course, I'd already sent this task to HR two days ago. FML
Today, I got an A+ on a writing assignment. My teacher asked me three times if I really did write this article myself, and didn't memorise an article from the Internet. FML
Today, I finished a very important but annoying presentation that took four hours to complete. Only after writing a paragraph to explain the presentation and sending it to my boss did I realize that I saved the document as "Shit I have to do to get a promotion." FML
Today, one of my colleagues was asked to rewrite an entire project, which I wrote last week. I'd spent more than 4 days writing it. FML

#18, since it was a typo, you can't really say what the author intended. The toilet popped into my mind first, but then I imagined a guy named Jon. It was a mistake, so the OP really intended neither meaning.

#29, no, it doesn't indicate anything. The OP himself said he intended to write "job." He wouldn't have intended anything if he accidentally written jab, jib, joe, jog, jon, jot, joy, bob, fob, gob, hob, lob, mob, nob, rob, sob or any other perrmutation of job with one wrong letter.

Speaking of proofreading, why hasn't anyone pointed out that this FML has a typo in it too? It states, "...them submit them."; it should state, "...then submit them." OP, you might just have a problem with proofreading :-(.

I once commented on a FML, pointing out that there was a typo in it. The next day, the typo had been corrected and I had a bunch of thumbs down! But I noticed OP's typo, too, and I'm glad you pointed it out!

#4, it's almost always a good idea. If you are the pilot on a plane that's about to crash and you whip out the emergency instructions and notice a comma where a semi-colon should be, let it go!

Probably not. More often than not autocorrect is a PAIN and changes my stuff that was correct to something incorrect.
