You deserved it. No offense, but if you're "on and off" for 8 years, it's never gonna be "on" forever. Better to cut your losses and move on to a better guy.

agreed ^ if you have an on and off boyfriend for 8 freaking years, your either in middle school, have the maturity level of a middle schooler, or have extreme commitment issues. Either way, you're not going to do much better

Why is it that its always the girl getting sympathy? Obviously since its an off and on kind of relationship he doesn't expect commitment like that.
