Today, after a nasty argument about the "necessity" of cars, I accepted a challenge to move a washing machine with a bicycle trailer. I got it loaded on, then started off down the street. The first time I tried to stop, I ran into a ditch with the washing machine falling on top of me. Ouch. FML

Sounds like you used the wrong type of trailer. A Carla Cargo or Donkey Trailer could have handled it easily.
