Merry Christmas, or not

Today, I got a quick COVID test and got a positive result. Christmas is in 3 days, my son and husband have to stay with my mom and Christmas is my favorite holiday. I've never been away from them this long and it is killing me. FML

Well, your child, husband and mothers health is much more important. Zoom away and turn it into something you CAN enjoy at home. I'm sure healthy holiday will be a more favored one. You can always postpone your gift opening and meals for after you're well, or just do a second one! It doesn't HAVE to be on the 25th

Be a responsible adult and quarantine to save your family from COVID-19. Use the phone, smartphone, Zoom, whatever to stay in contact.

Stay strong! If your family's health is important to you, you'll get through this and be happy that they are safe and happy!

Is it safe for your mom? I imagine that you live with said husband and kid so if you're positive, they might be too. When one is positive in a house, are not all the persons living there supposed to be in quarantine too?
