Thanksgiving at home

Today, I woke up with a dry cough, which is a red flag for COVID. I took a home test, came up positive; went to a doctor, same result. I get home, mask up, and tell my roommates to test. I'm still in the process of telling the family I can't make it for Thanksgiving when my roomies test positive, too. FML

This year, it's probably a blessing in disguise. What appears to be a festive meal with family is likely to be a mini Trump rally propagandizing everyone about vaccines, QAnon and stolen elections. Try Popeye's new chicken sandwich. If you fear losing your sense of taste, this bad boy will snatch it back for you!

Since everyone in your hose also tested positive, you could test your new sense of no-taste with a marshmallow-sweet potato casserole, green been casserole, stuffed chicken (turkeys are sold out anyways), gravy, and pumpkin and sweet potato pies, plus some candy corn for the football game.

Why did you go to the doctor after testing positive? Unless you actually need medical assistance then you’re just putting them at risk

OP here. I wanted to make sure the first one wasn't a false positive (considering the impact it would have, I wanted to be 100% sure), and my GP gave it to me for free.

My wife and I were actually too broke to celebrate properly. We ended up with ramen and watching a pirated movie (old, not recent and out of distribution)
