This one all comes down to his tone. Guys find farts funny. If it was a playful comment, then OP is overreacting. Besides, it could have been worse. There are far worse things that people do in their sleep than farting.

Too funny. I accidentally farted during 69, and I dont think my bf forgives me yet. He moves so that he actually farts on me. Its funny and we laugh.
