Today, I was fired from my job, due to my "performance going down". My performance went down because I can't see due to having a stroke, which management is well aware of. FML

I know there are laws against this, apply for disability and against your employer. Workman's Compensation has lawyers. Good luck I had a stroke in 1999, I couldn't work for about six months. This is why I believe in unions

Why I certainly sympathize with your situation how can you expect to keep your job if you can't see properly. Hopefully you can get on disability.

"Poor performance" is the legal way employers use to get rid of employees with health problems. Something like this happened to me as well.
