you could just say you draw ****, no need to get specific. if you made almost a million dollars in 3 years they won't be able to say a damn thing about it. maybe draw a few relatively tame pictures if they want proof?

You are a Commission Artist. You draw what people ask and pay for. There is nothing wrong with that. You don't owe your brother or family an explanation of your legal work. If so, you have my first sentence to start. have some proofs of regular animals or landscapes as backup.

Bank receipts and documents and credit card receipts ought to be handled carefully because they contain information that could help some thief steal your money or ruin your credit. There is no way anyone but my wife would ever be seeing one of my documents… But what’s done is done. It’s pure jealousy at work here. And later the ass hole will either try to hit you up for money or try to blackmail you into giving them money. And if you give them a dollar, the requests and demands will never end… As someone else said, just say you do commissioned art. You owe them no more explanation than that.
