Independance day

Today, a crying kid was brought to my attention by a customer. He was so upset from losing his mom that he couldn't say his or his mom's name. I took him around the store asking him to point out his mom. Once we'd found her she told me, "I was hiding from my kid to test his independence." FML

What an irrelevant comment, what does Quebec have to do with child abuse? The Americans have way more idiots having babies because they don't know about contraception and I am from Quebec but think separating is stupid. It's as bad as if Texas wanted to separate from the USA because they're the biggest state and have their own religion: football. Where are you from?

See now, this is why there should be a licence required before people breed. How any one, especially a mother, can leave a child to believe they had been abandoned in a busy shopping centre to "test their independence" is unbelievable. The woman is clearly unfit to be a parent, and the child should be somewhere with adopted parents who will be capable of providing adequate care. The fact that she abandoned the child, or even let the child believe that, what would have happened if a pedophile had found the poor child and taken them? I am sure the mother would have screamed her case of being a victim, and being the poor innocent in the occurrence, without anyone ever being the wiser of her shocking neglect and inadequate ability to care for her own child. Some people simply should not be allowed to have children. The woman should be ashamed of herself, and the child needs to be protected. Poor bugger.

It would have been funny to call the cops on this woman.... What's the point of testing independence if you're not watching to see the results? What if a pedo walked off with her kid?

I am told that whatever happens to you when you are 3 will subconsciously affect your life and shape your behavior and attitude toward life---what you are doing, what you do around the kid is absorbed, how happy your parents are, since I don't remember I asked my mom what happened when I was 3... Exactly 3, I almost died from an allergic reaction to Penicillin, I spent 3 weeks in the hospital, we moved to NDG. My mom says her and dad were happy and in love. On that note, some people really SHOULD NOT HAVE KIDS!! I was 14 on the bus when I saw this woman yank her kid out of the back seat, he could not have been more than 4 years old. The rage on that woman's face was awful, the kid hit the ground, I swear I saw his arm dislocated. Nothing that kid could have done justified this woman's anger and fury. I wanted to get off the bus and give her baseball bat therapy or tell her she's a bad person or take the kid with me... But, sadly, nothing can be done from doing the right thing.
