Today, I was working a concert ticket booth. A lady gave me her ticket, I punched it, and told her to enjoy the show. She asked for the “hotel.” Apparently, she thought that the concert ticket cost included a hotel stay, since she traveled from out of state. She cussed me out and had to be escorted out. FML

How could she have even gotten that out of a concert ticket? She must have been trying to play the system by making a hubbub and get something out of it.

You’re not wrong. My ex and I spent a long weekend in Miami a few years back - we paid for flight, hotel, rental car, meals, the whole nine yards. Our biggest expense? Dolphins tickets. And damned if I didn’t miss the play of the game when I got up to get a beer.

Hello? She came from out of state. Where did you think she was going to stay? Your organization cheated her if the ticket price didn't include a hotel! You should have let her sleep on your couch to remedy the error.
