Today, I called a wrong number. Calling back the right person, I began a long story about how I'd just called the wrong number. It was the wrong number lady again. FML

Why don't you check again, and how can you make such a long story out of it? Hmm... "Jerry Lee? hi! what's up!" "Oh, you got the wrong number" "Sorry.." "Jerry Lee? heyy!" "You g-" "You would like, so not believe it, I like totally called a person who I thought was you, but wasn't you, it was like, totally the wrong number. Funny how sometimes we can type in the wrong numbers and get to different people huh?? isn't it AMAZING how these days you can just click a machine and be in contact with someone miles away?!" Tsk tsk tsk. I hate people who jump from one subject to another. Shame on you! Of course, this is probably not what happened. I still wonder how you can make a long story out of calling the wrong number, though.

You deserve it for thinking that your friend wanted to hear about you dialing a wrong number, especially if you are so excited about such an occurence merits "a long story" that you start telling before you even confirm it is them on the line. Spare your friends banalities if you want to keep them.

Today, my wife faked being kidnapped. She composed a ransom letter and made calls from her phone screaming for help frantically and hanging up. I got the cops involved. Turns out it was all a scam, because she “wanted to see what I’d do” because apparently she “hasn’t been feeling loved” lately. FML

Today, well, last night, I told my girlfriend that I'm a light sleeper, and that the slightest disturbance will wake me up. As a result, this morning when I looked in the mirror I noticed a bunch of stuff written all over my body, like "You see, you didn't wake up!", "Nor now!". FML

Today, my lovely ex-mother-in-law died and now my ex has stopped talking to me. I found out through a mutual friend that we only had an amicable divorce in case his mother had left me money in her will, but now he’s got all her money, he didn’t even take time to invite me to the funeral. FML
