Grow up

Today, I was excited to go to a Japanese restaurant for my birthday. When the chef started doing tricks however, my spoiled brat of a sister started screaming and crying in terror. My parents insisted we leave and go to McDonald's because she was upset. She's 11. FML

The show where he’s flipping stuff around and making fire volcanoes or whatever really only lasts like 10 minutes. Your parents could’ve taken her outside for the “scary” parts and brought her back for the meal if they were that concerned. I’m really sorry your birthday was ruined, as I’m sure you were really looking forward to it. Your sister really does sound like a spoiled brat. Hopefully your parents find a way to make it up to you ❤️

You should get a sweet birthday present with the extra $120 or so they saved on the meal.

During one of my birthday dinners the servers ignored us and my parents decided we were gunna leave so I didn’t get food or the dessert which is what I wanted and we went to another restaurant for Icecream so I didn’t get food there either -.-‘ so I feel your pain, yours is just worse.

That is scary! One sibling likes knife play at face level and the other thinks McDonalds is fine dining. Yikes! I'm afraid. I'm very afraid!

Parent that play favorites with their kids are a big peeve of mine. It was your birthday, and she is more than old enough to know better. Bad parenting there, OP, so sorry.
