Today, Target asked me if I would do the closing announcement. I've only been working there a little while, so excited I agreed. I told people, "The store is now closing, thank you for shopping at Walmart." FML

Today, I got a phone call from my boss, who'd hired me after two months of waiting and begging for this position. A week into the job, the company is closing our store. FML
Today, I got a badly-needed job at a local discount store. After being hired, I found out I'm to help with the soon-to-begin store closing sale, and I'll be jobless again after 3 months. FML

Today, a shopper approached me at Target and said, "So are you just gonna stand there to look pretty and do nothing around here?" I ignored his comment, until he got so upset that he wanted to speak to my manager. It would have been understandable if I actually worked there. FML
Today, the store I work at got shut down and I got let go. Three days ago I got a promotion and a raise. FML
Today, I reached the point in my life where Target is the "expensive" store. FML
Today, I applied for a job at a local store. As I walked out the door, I heard the manager read it out loud and everybody else laugh. FML
Today, I was at Walmart and I asked an employee for help. She turned around with tears streaming down her face and said, “I'm kind of in the middle of an emergency right now!” FML

Trust me on this, write it down next time. I use to work in Sears and had to do the hourly sale announcements in my department. I would write it down as a template and just change the name of the sale and so forth. Until you get good at it.

I work at target there isn't a closing announcement, we want our guest to feel the most comfortable and un interrupted shopping experience that's why there isn't any music playing either,
