Today, despite the fact that we are well off and desperate to be parents, my sister refuses to let us adopt her unborn baby, and intends to “raise him on her own.” We earn twice what she does and have been trying to conceive or adopt for 7 years, and she doesn’t even have a husband. FML

If you're so "well off," why haven't you been able to adopt yet? The agencies keep deeming you unfit to be a parent? I guess money can't get you everything, after all. Oh, and I hope your sister gets a restraining order against you.

you are greedy and think your better then her. your not. trying to convince your sister to give up her baby because you think you'll be better. if I was her I'd cut ties with you and never talk to you again. you have no right all because you can't conceive. adopt from a agency.

So because she doesn't have a husband she's not allowed to raise her own kid? Sorry it's not working out for you, but your sister doesn't owe you her offspring to appease you, no matter the circumstances.
