Today, I went to meet my boyfriend's parents for the first time. His mother, seconds upon meeting me, gave me a hug, smiled at me, and said: "It's so nice to finally meet you! All I ever hear is 'Emma this', and 'Emma that', 'I love Emma!'. He never stops talking about you!" My name's not Emma. FML

Today, I met my boyfriend’s parents for the first time. I got nervous and tried to say, "Nice to meet you, I’ve heard a lot about you!" when I should’ve just said, "It’s nice to meet you." To make things worse, it came out as, "Nice to hear you, I’ve met a lot about you." FML

i def think that the mom is a bitch and is trying to rid her sons life of a girl. or just you...i dont know which. or maybe your bf is a cheating *****. confront him, but be civilized. dont be naive if he is lying to you. its not hard to figure out. or just be like "bitch my names is [name], who the **** is emma?" and maybe she'll be like "ZOMG!!!! my sons a dick!!!" either way, its not that hard to get your answer.
