Don't look up

Today, at work on a construction site, my coworker dropped a small piece of metal from 4 stories, and it struck another worker. We quickly began to climb down to see if the person was OK, and the same coworker dropped a metal pole, and crushed my hand, two minutes after the first accident. FML

I'm convinced he's dropping things on purpose

******* hell, looks like they need some more training. Or gloves with suction pads.

Time for someone to get fired I think. Or at least moved to a different position where they can't cause anymore damage.

Oh Henry this worker has butterfingers I sure hope he doesn't snicker after each drop

WCB ftw! That sucks OP, WCB sucks to deal with, especially in a situation like this. I hope your hand heals good and there is no permanent damage, I hope the first co-worker is okay, and I hope the guy who keeps dropping stuff gets a new position on the ground.

Coworker is sentenced to work on the ground floor.

FYL you need yours hands for this job. Has he got grease on his hands ?!

Safety nets dumbasses. If you're working that high up and exposed to the exterior you'd typically have some scaffolding and the netting to go with it. Something tells me there's a lazy safety manager on site.

Report him, OP. Accident or not, someone that clumsy should not be working construction. He could have done a lot more damage. Hope your hand heals quickly, OP.

"And that's why Paddy's not at work today."

guy needs a serious refocus..a punch to the stomach may help that... lesson learned ..from now on ..he goes down before you do
