need a little more clarification on what your roomate thinks on how it is done. compared to what you were doing.
Probably doesn't have anything to do with you. Though I have seen people who are really particular about the proper way to maximize space in the dishwasher. Way I see it as long as people doing more good than harm that's a win.
you're doing the dishes... they can **** off or do it themselves. unless they are actually still dirty (food, grime, etc) room mates don't get to complain AND not help. it's like when people cook for others, if it is edible and you didn't help in any way, eat it or don't, but don't whine. especially when it comes to adults who should know how to take care of themselves.
it's called 'deflection'. your roomie is trying to make themselves look like less of a lazy asshole by saying that. from now on, just only wash your own dishes.
