Ah, yes. Survivorship bias at its finest.
OP has a coworker. This coworker thinks the recent overturn of Roe V Wade here in the USA is good, and justified this belief by saying that she had not aborted any of her children and is doing fine. OP notes that the coworker had a lot of help, to the point of being able to have her ex watch her kids for extended periods of time. This is a much different reality than most people who need or want an abortion have.
She's an idiot. Roe v. Wade didn't force women to get abortions -- it just made it a decision they could make for themselves. Sounds like she made the wrong choice, but she had her chance.
Toss on her if a 10 YEAR OLD should be forced to carry since she was raped. It is so wrong that this was overturned and I hope someone in our government gets balls and fixes this
There are literally anti-choice politicians who think that a 10-year-old pregnant rape victim should look on this as an "opportunity." An opportunity to do what? Die as a result of her pregnancy? I mean, doesn't the life of the little girl count?
They don’t believe women are people and should be handled just like their slaves. With this, we’ve re-entered the dark ages once again. I just wish the church would stop with their damn crusades. It’s getting a lot of people killed. Maybe they think if abortions aren’t banned, they’ll run out of little Timmy’s glued to their crotch.
