Today, I was at my mom's funeral. My sisters and I were sitting in the front row. The funeral director, whom we had met with twice before, was going around greeting everyone. When she got to us, she asked where our mom was. Seriously? FML
I know everyone makes mistakes in their jobs and she must see so many families, but it's well within the nature of her job - as well as the responsibilities - to at least keep in mind the family members that is deceased so you don't **** up like that. I hope you made clear her mistake. Fyl

I'm incredibly sorry for your loss OP. And she may be gone physically but she'll always be with you.

I am so sorry for your loss... Maybe the director thought it was your dad who died instead?

You would think she'd know by now that family sits in the front row. Wow. I'm so sorry for your loss, OP.
