Today, I was sitting in class when the most popular girl in my grade came up to me holding birthday invitation cards. I've never been invited to a birthday party, so I was so excited when she handed me a card, only to hear her say, "Mary is on your bus, will you give this to her?" FML

Today, was my 16th birthday. Needless to say, I was delighted when my friends presented me with a birthday card in a homeroom. I pretended to be surprised and exclaimed, "Aw, you guys really shouldn't have!" They didn't. It was our teacher's birthday. They just wanted me to sign the card. FML

Today, the shy girl in my class decided to bring a cake to share with everyone, since it was her birthday. Excited about the cake, I got everybody to sing "happy birthday" for her, only to realize too late that nobody in the class know her name, myself included. FML

Today, it was my co-worker's birthday but she told me not to mention it. Feeling bad for her, I went out to buy her a card, a present, and even a small cake. It turns out that there was actually a party during our lunch break, and I was the only one in our office not invited. FML

Today, I gathered the courage and wrote a love letter to put in the girl I like's school bag, at the end of classes. I felt anxious for a response. Her bag turned out to be her cousin's, and I became a joke in the classroom. FML

Today, everyone was signing a birthday card to surprise a coworker. I was told to go find someone who hadn't signed it so I went to the office next to mine, opened the door, and told them about the card. The intended recipient was sitting behind the door. FML

That's horrible, but I hate to say: that's how some kids are. You just have to accept it, and move on...and maybe if you feel like it, burn the invite. It's ok if Mary doesn't go to the party. I mean, maybe that girl will think Mary doesn't like her and you'll have your revenge.

If you had said 'everyone got invited except me' then maybe bad, but as you didn't...why should she invite you? Unless you are her friend, which I would think you would mention if you were, then she had no reason to invite you. People who are saying she's a bitch, do you invite absolutely everyone in your grade to your birthday party (or did you when you were in grades) I bet most if not all of you didn't.

no, I didn't... but I also didn't give an invite to someone to give to another person I am not inviting... That's just rude. The only reason I think the popular girl is a bitch is because she should've had a FRIEND give the other girl an invite. not some random person she wasn't inviting

ok i'm really sorry to break this to ya'll but this is definately off of a movie.. ice princess... the physics "geek" is standing next to her locker and the "popular" girl walks up to her and hands her an invite and after she's really excited about it she asks if she can give the invite to a girl that is on her bus or in her class oh and to you guys saying that you've never been invited to parties that's just sad.. maybe you should try being more outgoing or less annoying because those are probably the reasons why people don't invite you... either they haven't noticed you cause you're tooo shy or they think your annoying.. makes sense!
