Brute force

Today, I went in the one-person bathroom at work to pee. Next thing I know, a woman forced the locked door open and walked in on me, because she didn't believe another person who said, "I think someone is in there." I'm reluctant to use that bathroom in the future. FML

Happened to me once. They knocked a bunch even after I said that the bathroom was occupied. The next thing I knew, a woman and her kid had forced the lock and walked in on me. Luckily, I had just pulled up my pants.

So, was it a really flimsy lock or did this woman have PCP induced super-strength? Because right now I'm just picturing her going all She-Hulk and ripping through the deadbolt like tissue paper. All the while, screaming "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! I HAD CHIPOTLE TODAY!!!"

Just carry one of those wedges that you use to hold a door open. They work equally well to hold a door closed. You can find them at office supply stores and some hardware stores.

Why people don't hesitate to walk into a public bathroom without checking if it's available beforehand will always be beyond me. Walking in on someone is just as embarrassing as someone walking in on you. Why would people willingly put themselves in that position. It takes no more than a few seconds to knock on a door.

You could have rewarded her persistence by peeing on her, I'd have turnt around startled while still peeing.

You couldn't hear her breaking in and stop her

This is why I hum loudly in cubicles :)

Um...usually when a bathroom door is LOCKED, that should be your sign...was that woman desperate?

If some one busts a lock and barges in on me while I'm peeing, then I'm turning around and peeing on them.

forced a locked door open? was she wonder woman or what?
