I have a friend who is going through something similar. It’s because she didn’t take the time to mourn the end of her marriage before getting into a new relationship. When the second relationship ended, it hit her HARD.

You'll survive, OP. It gets better over time. Do things that make you happy and be comfortable being single in the meantime. It's been over 2.5 years for since I've been in a relationship but what keeps me happy is the gym and hanging out with friends.

My marriage ended legally in August and I was totally over it by July. It had been 3 years between those two relationships.

Had you seen the divorce coming? My wife left me in February and I was over her by March. By the beginning of May, I was hurting more from losing the woman who ended up being my rebound more than I was over my ex. Mostly because I knew in my heart my ex and I were over.
