You should have said no. When or if they punished you, bring it up with the school or quit the team. They're not worth it - and by they, I mean the people who asked and thought you should do that instead of play.
I could have SWORN that said you ran INTO the scoreboard. I was laughing my ASS off until I finally decided to re-read it. ahahahah. Would've been funnier. lmao
You were happy about someone's broken ankle? YDI.
32000th IAYLSer!
Don't worry you'll be backup waterboy someday! Lol Jk that stinks though
Having been a dual sport athlete in high school and then walking into my college lacrosse team, sometimes people have an inflated idea of their abilities. I never expected to play, and was pleased with them time I received. If he wants more playing time, having a frank discussion with his coach about what needs to be improved in the off season should be had.

why wouldn't the guy with the broken ankle run the scoreboard?????
Inked2009, (sorry i cant reply using the iphone app) it's not an fml because he missed the game. It's an fml because the OP never gets to play, and the one time he gets the chance they find a reason not to let him.
