Today, after teaching my 4 year-old son about the concept of "Stranger Danger," we had gone to a park full of people. When I walked up to him to tell him we had to leave, he ran, screaming, "Stranger! Don't touch me!" FML

You know, if I didn't have a 4-year-old nephew, I'd assume the kid just didn't understand the concept. But my nephew's smart enough that I realize the OP's kid understands it perfectly, and is just ******* with his mom because he doesn't want to leave. Depending on the kid's personality, here's what you do: say, "Fine, but I'm leaving without you, then." Walk away (of course, keep a watch on the kid out of the corner of your eye, but make him believe you're leaving him). Keep walking as far as you can without losing sight of him. Either he'll get scared and run after you, or he'll run off to play, at which point you come back and drag his ass out of there :P . -IMP ;) :)
