Today, my doctor informed me that the tests we've been doing the previous months show no sign of leukemia. I was just about to express my relief when he casually followed up with, "Never mind, there's still a lot of other blood-related diseases we need to look out for." FML

There were other ways your doctor could have said that, but keep looking up OP. I'm sure you'll be fine. And if not, take each day one day at a time. :)

Hopefully they will show nothing is wrong as well.

You should get a second opinion. It shouldn't take months to figure out you don't have leukemia. That's what bone marrow biopsies are for.

I know your doctor could have been more comforting, but just think that you don't have cancer. Just take it one day at a time!

Stay positive! I have a form of leukemia. I have chronic myeloid leukemia and I've had it since I was 16, I'm going to be 22 in November. It's no fun! Hopefully nothing is wrong!

Good luck hun, hope everything turns out okay :)

Is your doctor by chance Dr Gregory House, MD?

I'm sorry OP, but i'm glad you don't have leukemia. My dad is going through the same thing right now. Just take it one day at a time and stay strong. Medical issues are always tough to go through. Good luck!

I swear to God it said leucemia yesterday.... some mod must have sneaked in. Anyway OP don't worry they will find what it is, at least they ruled out a very ugly disease
