Today, my 4 year old's heavily pregnant teacher pulled me aside and asked me to talk to my son about "boundaries". Apparently, he asked her if she was going to "boobie feed" him and listed a few reasons why she should and why formula is bad, in front of the entire class. FML

OP here: Yes he was breastfed for about 5 months. Due to unfortunate medical problems, we had to switch completely to formula. His brother, however, is currently breastfeeding. At 4 years old, he has lots of questions and I try to answer them all as honestly as I can. I in NOW WAY judge people about formula feeding. As long as the baby is happy and healthy, do what you do, which I've also tried to teach him.

Why is your 4yr old saying this? He has obviously heard you rant about it more than once at home. Why do you care how other parents choose to feed their baby? Formula is a safe viable alternative to anyone who can't or chooses not to breastfeed. If the child is well-fed and loved, it's not your business to interfere. YDI 100%

89 - OP replied to a comment. The son has a baby brother who's breastfeeding and has a ton of questions. Seems as though she just explained why she does it instead of bottles and he decided to repeat it.

This resorts back to you or someone else who said this around him. Kids repeat what they hear. I'm gonna say you deserved it on this one.

Mad hell I would be impressed if I was that teacher.

kids will be kids there is so much you can do. Just make sure his curiosity change over time as he/she gets older

My brother was talking about white blood cells at 5 so don't assume it's not true

Well kids sure say the darnest things
