Today, I went to a restaurant and only brought $14 with me to eat. I ordered and ate my meal, then went to the counter to pay for it. I threw $2 into the tip jar then got my bill. My bill was $13.86. I had to reach into the tip jar and take my $2 back so I could pay for my meal. FML

Honestly, YDI because you need to pay more attention to the prices of what you're going to eat.

Lol why would you tip before you paid for your bill and second why would you tip at a fast food place .

IMO You should consider whether you have enough for the meal and the tip when you order. If you can't cover both, look for a cheaper meal.

YDI for 2 reasons: 1 u shouldve brought more money 2 tip them after you paid

who tips before paying the bill?? and did you not check the price on whatever you ordered..with only 14 dollars that should be the first thing your aware of.

how could you spend so much at a restaurant with a tip jar? any restaurant with a tip jar is fast food—all others have you pay the tip in the bill, or leave it on the table—and fast food isn't that expensive, so...wtf?

That's why you tip AFTER you're done eating, or after you've paid for your meal.

to have a meal and go to the cashier after to pay is actually kind a fast food to me.
