I just don't understand why this is an FML. Whether you like Pokemon or not, this was an awesome, creative, and unique way to propose! You should be happy that your boyfriend proposed, not complaining about it on the internet!

Well you can tell your children that he did it in a creative yet nerdy but cute way. You can't say that about every proposal. :)

Ever since I was little, I have always loved Pokémon. I collected the cards, had an insane amount of VHS tapes, had boardgames, video games, posters, and more! I still have most of these things, and even use them from time to time. However, to be honest, I really think that as much as I'd love being proposed to by that special someone, I'd also be a bit disappointed being proposed to that way. I know that sounds very selfish, but I mean it in a different way than I'm sure it sounds. Don't get me wrong; it sounds like a very cute, original proposal, but I suppose sometimes people would prefer if it was done traditionally. I hope you said yes, and that you guys are living a super happy together! (:
