Today, I was watching ESPN. My boyfriend came in, bitched about "boring tv," so I handed him the remote. He put on a Lifetime movie. I must be the only woman in America with this problem. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my friend caught me watching a movie on Oxygen instead of the Super Bowl. I'm a guy. FML
Today, the power was out. I tried to explain to my boyfriend that he wouldn't be able to watch any TV until the power came back on. His response was, "But we have Netflix." FML
Are you kidding me?
Today, my boyfriend was complaining about how we never see the movies he wants to see. So I took him to the movies, and he picked which one. Then he fell asleep. FML
Not an Addams Family person
Today, my girlfriend spend all day pouting that I wouldn't watch 'Wednesday' with her, despite my giving the pilot a chance and hating it. Yet when I choose a show, I usually get five seconds before, "What is this? I don't like it! Turn it off." FML
Spoiled
Today, I finally got my boyfriend to watch one of my favorite TV shows. I was excitedly talking when he interrupted me and angrily said, "Can you stop with the fucking spoilers?" I then realized I'd spoiled half the show. He left to play video games. FML
Hissy fit
Today, I was watching our regular show on Netflix with my boyfriend. I made a remark about one of the male leads having nice abs. My boyfriend is so pathetically insecure that he threw a fit and is refusing to finish the show since he claims I find the actor more attractive than him. FML
Today, I realized my wife often switches the TV channel from the crime dramas we both like, to Hollywood gossip shows that I can't stand, just to get me to leave the room. From the other room, I can see that she switches back once I've left. She's probably been doing this for years. FML
Today, I began to undress my wife, who was watching TV, and gave her a massage to relax her while she watched her soap. 20 minutes later, when the programme came to an end, she said "I wish you'd let me watch TV in peace!". FML
Today, I asked my boyfriend why he dates me. He immediately responded, "Well, TV shows are boring and predictable, so you're a good source of fresh and interesting drama." FML
Today, I was watching a movie alone, after receiving a text from my boyfriend saying that his grandma was at the hospital, so he couldn't go with me. I caught him on a date with another girl, at the same movie screening that I went to. FML

I hate sports but even I wouldn't do that. Wow!

The only reason that would be a problem is if he thinks they are real and starts acting like the men in the movies. I think terrible movies are hilarious and my boyfriend, and I, try to top one another with how bad movies are. The current winner stands as Paul Bunyon's Revenge on Sci-Fi. People find different things good. It doesn't matter if he likes Lifetime movies, you like sports. Some people could say that is a problem.

Tell him he should be starting dinner while the game is on, and while he's out there, he should grab you a beer. Tell him those brain washing movies are shown over and over, the game only once. If he starts crying you should slap him.

Has he ever been to second base with you? It sounds like he would have a clue how to get there! Without sports, how would he know how to "take it to the hole," "drive the fairway," "aim for the deuce box," "slip one by the goalie," etc.?

You aren't the only one. If there's sports on in my house, i'm the one watching it. Though my husband prefers sci-fi to lifetime movies, he does watch the occasional chick flick.

I'm a huge sports fan, but every guy I've dated has been pretty eh about sports. Maybe we just attract non-sports fans.
