Content almost refused by staff

Today, I was trying to improve my relationship with my mother, so I asked how her day was. She responded with “Do you really care?” and then stomped off in her heels so hard I think I suffered hearing loss. FML

it sounds like there are some unresolved issues there. it is great you are trying to improve your relationship. maybe sit her down and explain that you do care and this is what you are trying to show. tell her you do want to spend time with her.
