Today, I was telling my dad about plans to go out late for a few drinks next week. My dad started his usual "YOU COULD GET RAPED!" lecture, before my brother sprang to my defence, "It's not like she's what they're after, is she?" Apparently, rapists are out of my league. FML

Today, I decided to dress up a little to go out to the bar. I put on a nice shirt, some leggings, and heels. When I walked out the door, my dad said that I looked like a whore. When I got to my boyfriend's house I told him what my dad had said and he replied, "I'd have to agree with him." FML

Wow some of the comments here blow my mind. Y'all do know that rapists rape everyone regardless of what they look like or what they wear. Old people get raped, babies and toddlers get raped, fat people get raped. It's a matter of power and control not "oh that chick/dude is so hot I must have them"
