Damn. That sucks, but as everyone else is saying, it has to be something you're doing. Do you talk to these guys AFTER you've made the date? Are you whining or constantly putting yourself down for not having a license (and possibly among other things)? People in general do not get good vibes off of those that constantly project their issues, and it's a pain to try to stroke someone's ego especially if it seems like they are getting nothing in return. It's a balance game. Anyway, best of luck with your future dating endeavors, and perhaps seek counseling?

funny thing was... i posted a FML for something JUST like this, but mine was 8 dates, with 8 different guys, all of which stood me up and I never heard from again (note, people I knew face to face, not weird internet dating or anything). And it got rejected for posting.. even FML is against me! hahah

First of all, I am 19. I don't have my license because I have nobody at home who will take me driving. My dad works 3 jobs and my mom doesn't want me to leave and move out. Secondly, my 6 dates are between 2 guys. For the first guy, we'd set a date, he wouldn't show, and then we'd chat and THEN he'd give me some excuse. After 2 missed dates I let 2 months go by and we'd try again. For the second guy, he had legit excuses for missing and understandably explained them to me later. He at least apologized for missing. But still, 6 dates planned this summer and not one of them happened and I was completely in the dark when it came time for them to show up. I take full blame for allowing myself to think that maybe they'd show next time. When trapped at home, any chance to get out is reason for hope, even if its with a jerk. I'm also sorry to disappoint some of you, but I'm neither a HO nor a ****. I'm just a very foolish, lonely person.

You don't need those guys. They treated you like crap now imagine if you had gotten into a serious relationship with them! Plus if going on a date it is a guys job to pick you up not matter if you can drive or not. Its called being a gentleman.

I'm quite surprised that no one pointed out the (seemingly quite likely) possibility that she was the 'backup plan' for each of these guys. That says nothing necessarily about her, but rather that the guys are unlikely to be worth the time...
