Today, I was on the way to traffic court for a $340 speeding ticket I'd got. My mother called me and I wasn't paying attention which caused me to speed. Right past a cop. When I told the cop where I was going, he started laughing at me. I now have another $300 ticket. FML

Today, I got pulled over for speeding and got a $200 ticket. After I pulled away, I decided to warn the next car about the cop up ahead by flashing my headlights. The next car was another cop. He didn't appreciate my "help". FML

Today, my mom told me to follow her car closely to my aunt's house. I kept really close to her which caused me to get pulled over for tailgating. I explained everything to the cop so he went over to my mom to see if that was the truth. My mom said she didn't know me. I got a ticket. Thanks mom. FML

Today, I was pulled over and was given a $300 ticket for going 90mph on a 70mph highway. The cop swore he saw my silver car darting in and out of traffic. A couple of minutes earlier that exact car had passed me while I was following the speed limit. FML

Today, I called the police regarding people speeding down my street, because I was worried for my young kids. On the way home from my daughter's ballet class, I got pulled over two blocks away from my house and got a $150 speeding ticket. FML

How is it that he deserves it? I don't get it. He says his MOTHER CALLED him. He did not call her. So it's HER fault that her phone call caused him to speed up past the traffic officer and got him another speeding ticket. I don't understand you people. His life Definitely Sux. :P

It sucks, but honestly, YDI. I do have to wonder, though, how accurate this FML is- I'm from MA and you had to be going at least double the speed limit for those kinds of fines, and going more than twice the speed limit is considered a felony offense, not a misdemeanor. Exaggeration, anyone?

Depends on where you are. In the MetroWest area (ie where the Rt. 9 construction is an ever-present fact of life), those kinds of fines wouldn't be unusual.
