Today, I was in my garden having a cigarette when I took a sip of my coke. Then realised it was the other can that I had left earlier and put a finished cigarette in. FML.

As a non-smoker who has had this done to her drink a number of times by smokers, even though it wasn't their drink or even finished, pretty gross and annoying isn't it? Just use an ashtray, that's what they're for, you can even get one just for outside. I know how you feel, expecting pop and then getting ash in your mouth is disgusting.

Yeah, I've had smokers do that to my drink before too. Obviously every can that isn't in someone's hand at all times is the next best ashtray. Even if it's standing right in front of someone. Uncivilized pigs.

I think it's awful that smokers get no respect and no sympathy. This is an addiction, and not an easy one to break. If smoking keeps you from killing the people around you, please keep smoking. I'm sorry that you had a nasty mouthful.
