Autumn: Leaves and Laughter
When the leaves fall, the laughter rises. Discover autumn stories as crisp as dried leaves!
Today, my daughter asked me to get her razors. When my 19-year-old son saw them he asked what they were for, to which my daughter replied, "For my armpits." My son then said, "Girls don't grow armpit hair." FML
Today, I realized that it's become a regular occurrence for my mother and me to talk about our pubic hair. I don't know which is worse, the fact that I now know that she shaves it, or the fact that we even talk about this stuff. FML
Today, I had to beg my husband not to shave his pubic hair into a handlebar moustache. FML
Today, I walked into the kitchen to find my father trimming his pubes over the bin with our kitchen scissors. FML
Today, I explained to my teenage daughter that enough was enough and she needed to start shaving her armpits again, stating it was unladylike and unsanitary. Her only response was, "If it's so unsanitary, why don't you make my brother do it?" I give up. FML
Today, I tried to talk to my teenage son about healthy masculinity. He said, "Yeah Mom, I know. Lift weights and eat red meat and fish. Can I go?" Not what I meant at all. FML
Today, I had to explain to my son why it is not okay to slap old women's butts. He's 16. FML
Today, I had to explain to my 7-year-old son that it's not okay to smell others' "wieners". FML
Today, I asked my 13-year-old son if he thought he was mature enough for a talk about "the birds and the bees." His response was, "They fly, so what? Why would I care?" FML
Today, my son told me he needed a haircut. I was thrilled that he actually requested it, since he normally throws a fit over getting them. He described the cut he wants. It's a mullet. FML

It might be uncomfortable sometimes, but at least you're open enough with your son that he trusts you and comes to you with even awkward topics. That's being a good parent.

I can't even imagine the pain you'd feel after a wax down below.

Before getting too scarred, get him a trimmer or something.

That one's a super easy two word answer. All you gotta do is say, "Very carefully!" and then walk away.
