My fiancé and I are in this same position. If it’s meant to be, it will be, but be prepared for the pain of separation, especially on special occasions when you can’t be together. And it goes without saying - make sure she’s real, if you haven’t already met face to face.

My boyfriend and I live 4k miles apart, you can make it work if you both have the patience and understanding that it takes to be in a long distance relationship. good luck.
