Today, I put scribbles, lines, shapes and random words on my calendar just to make it seem like I was busy. This isn't the first time. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I wrote in my own yearbook with different styles of handwriting so my mom would think I have friends. FML
Send 'em in anyway
Today, again I wrote out another FML. Again, I deleted it before posting. Every FML I write would seem like I'm just making stuff up, or would be so obviously me that it would just cause me grief. My life is just an endless stream of weird stuff I can't tell family or friends. FML
Who's Afraid of Red, Yellow and Blue
Today, I spent almost two hours drawing a scenery. I was tired halfway in and took a break. Came back to my room to see it getting scribbled on. FML
Planning
Today, I bought an expensive notebook because I wanted to become the kind of person who plans everything. On the first page, I carefully wrote my goals, habits, and schedule. I haven't opened it since. It is now the most organized thing I own. FML
Procrastination
Today, I prepared a detailed plan to organise my life, colour-coded and beautifully illustrated. I was so engrossed in designing the perfect plan that I forgot to actually do any of it and ended up with a highly organised non-starter. FML
Monotony
Today, after I'd bought a daily planner to write down my plans and my accomplishments for this year, we're now in March and it’s completely empty. I realized that I have no goal, no plans, nothing. FML
Today, I found myself lying to my diary. FML
Today, I had so much to do, I didn't know where to start. So I didn't. FML
What would you do?
Today, I took a deep breath and started journaling to "figure out my life." Two hours later, I had written four pages of ranting about my upstairs neighbor's loud footsteps and zero pages about my life goals. FML
Self-care
Today, I was frustrated at work so to have fun, I wrote an email to myself saying that I was great and loved myself and should relax. I used all different colors and fonts. Instead of hitting "delete", I hit "print" without realizing. My manager got it out of the printer and put it on my desk. FML

At least you're willing to keep a calendar. I never do anything so I don't bother to even own one.

Well, scribbling is a form of art. It takes concentration, dedication and a very unfocused mind to scribble. That ain't easy.

My calendar is full of appts, kid's swim team meets, violin lessons, orthodontist, parent teacher conference, veterinary appt cause your dog snatched a corn cob from your kid, snarfed it down, hasn't shit it out, and you think its stuck, lunch date...etc you will wish you could go back to an empty calendar. Trust me.

Who are you trying to impress? If you're doing it because you want to be busy then go out and do something. Join a club or group. If it's because you don't want to look pathetic in front of your friend/family then that's pathetic. Who cares what they think as long as you're happy with your life and free time.
