Today, I learned that when you ask your friend what he's doing tonight and he says "studying for finals," he actually means "I'm going to a mutual friend's birthday party that you aren't supposed to know about." FML

Not everyone lives in the Northern Hemisphere, mate. Most places tend to have final exams in the month before the summer break.

Surprise! Usually, it’s played on the celebrant by all of the invited guests. I guess this time it’s a conspiracy by the celebrant and the guests to the uninvited riff-raff.
