Today, I found out that my ex-husband just had a baby with his new partner. We only split up a week ago. FML
Today, I found out that, after a year of separation, my ex-wife is pregnant and due in a few months. The divorce became official a few weeks ago and the father is my former best friend. FML
Today, my ex-husband introduced our daughter to her "new mommy". That's the third time this year. FML
Today, I got a call from my husband, saying that he wants a divorce, he’s been seeing his colleague and that she’s more compatible to him. I’ve just given birth to out first child. He told me, "Aww, good luck with that." FML
Today, my fiancé told me his ex-wife was 5 weeks pregnant. I was happy for her, and glad she had finally moved on. Until I found out who the father was. They're moving back in together, for the baby's sake. FML
Today, my ex dumped me for his ex who'd cheated on him. Today, I also found out I'm pregnant. When I told him he said, "I’m really happy for you. I hope it all works out." FML
Today, I found out my soon to be ex-husband is going to be a father. We spent our entire marriage unsuccessfully trying for a baby. The mother of his unborn child isn't his new girlfriend, but someone else he was cheating on her with. Our divorce isn't even finalized yet. FML
Today, my colleague rushed off to the hospital for the birth of his first son. Having met his wife at the Christmas party a couple of years ago, I called to congratulate her. Shame I didn't realize it was his mistress having the baby. Guess who broke the news to the wife. FML
Today, I helped deliver the baby belonging to the woman my husband left me for. FML
Today, I got a call from the guy I'd been seeing for a few weeks. It was his wife calling to find out what was going on with us. He told me he was separated. He left his kids home alone to hook up with me. FML

I don't see why you care if you hooked up with him last summer. Seems to me like you haven't seen him or talked to him in over a year. One thing I know is you should never date or hook up with someone who claims to be, "going through a divorce", or is "separating/separated". If y'all can't wait for the ink to dry then it's not worth it.

Sometimes people lie. Men lie at times, women lie at times. I assume he was not entirely truthful when he wanted to hook up with you. It might have been an exaggeration that he was getting a divorce when he was just thinking about it. Or maybe it was a complete lie. Whatever you do stay away from that A-hole. He’s a liar and married with child. You have no future there. Regardless of what happens in the future he’s got child support for the next 18 years, and he’s currently married.

Maybe during the process of the divorce they found the reason why they love each other and decided not to go through with it. Doesn't necessarily mean he lied. Most people think back to the beginning when the end comes and to some it's worth to give it another shot.

If the FML is that you hooked up with a married man, then don't feel guilty about that. He was responsible for his own actions and he new what he was doing, so as long as you weren't trying to seduce someone who would otherwise remain faithful, you did nothing wrong.
