Today, I found out that my mother intentionally donated the quilt that I had made for her, because, "It didn't match anything". That was $70 worth of fabric and 7 and a half weeks spent on that handiwork of mine. FML

I know too many people that think making someone something as a gift is better than anything. It can be, sometimes, but if you aren't sure what you are making will be recieved gratefully maybe you should drop hints or straight up ask before you spend so much time and money.

This made me so sad. No mother should ever be that rude
