Today, I forgot to take my wallet off the roof of my car and drove away, onto the highway. A man behind me began flashing his lights and waving his arms. I thought he was freaking out because I cut him off. I flipped him off. He was trying to tell me that all my money was flying down the road. FML

This is the first YDI I'm giving to someone. Totally agree with #11.

Two words : DEBIT CARD. I never carry cash on me unless I have to, for reasons such as this. But yeah - you're a jerk for cutting him off, and then flipping him off when he was trying to help you. You totally deserved to lose all your money.

it's sad that we always assume someone is out to get us and not out to help us.

My dad used to do that with his coffee mugs... he has Alzheimer's. What's your excuse?

i hope you apologized! No good deed goes unpunished these days.

I call fake. If you left your wallet on your car, it would just fall off. The money wouldn't just fly out.

Why in the heck did you have your wallet on top of your car???

Why isn't anyone asking...why the OP's whole wallet didn't fly off the vehicle? Why was it just money?

Why would someone be flashing their lights and waving their arms if you cut them off? That's not really a good indication that someone is pissed off at you.
