I would find it flattering if someone did that at my funeral. I’m not saying it wasn’t somewhat disrespectful, but I just lost my grandmother too and the levity the priest brought to the service was a welcome relief in an otherwise pretty intense situation. Wherever your grandmother is, I’m sure she smiled when he played a little Nirvana. BTW - did he do a good job?

Was your grandmother not into Grunge? I thought everyone had a Grunge phase growing up.
