I am also an Uber driver... I've totally had this happen to me too! I don't mind it, usually I get free food, and get paid and sometimes tipped on top of it.

minimum fare varies from City to City it's currently $6 in South Florida unless it's a pool ride

Maybe he was still drunk from the night before? That's pretty smart if you ask me. He was being safe and at the same time was providing worker stability for an uber driver such as yourself
