She's not just a fairly odd parent, she's a fairly ******-up parent. I thought most parents these days wanted the exact opposite of this, especially considering that having children holds you back from a good number of your plans. The lack of direction comments will end eventually, as at 19 OP is quite possibly between high school and life. Either an entry level job in the career path you want or a solid dedication to a university major she sees as leading to one will fix that complaint.
