Today, my daughter cried because she went to Sonic and they were out of tater tots. When I say she cried, I mean actual tears fell from her eyes. She’s 19. FML

I'd cry, too! The tater tots are the tastiest item on the menu. It would be like going to McDonald's and finding out they ran out of napkins.

I would say check in with her and see if there is a deeper issue. I’ve cried occasionally over really unimportant things because I was overwhelmed with huge stressors and barely holding it together as is. Ask if she’s okay.

I second this. There could be so much that she's dealing with that you're not seeing. Especially at that age. Those taters could have been a comfort she was really looking forward to amongst all the negative things she may be juggling.
